Happening this weekend! (10-11 September)

Clan Skates in Glasgow are organising a “Weekend of Wheels” on the 10th & 11th of September 2016 at Glasgow’s Riverside Museum / Transport Museum. It will be two days of skateboard and BMX competitions and demos with a £500 prize fund.

There will be the Scottish midi-ramp champs and all in a big, dry tent! There will also be flatland game of skate comp / demos, BMX demos, free skateboard lessons with equipment provided.

City Slickers Skate Jam - 27 August 2016

The City Slickers Skateboard Competition is back bigger and better for 2016. This year the Prize pot is £1000 and entry is FREE! 
The main competition will have a first prize of £500 with 2nd getting £250 and third £150.

This year we want there to be more prizes available for all levels of skateboarders. That way more people can enter and have a chance of winning. Competitions are as follows...

17 years and under Unsponsored (heats) – Product Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd

17 years and under Sponsored (heats) – Product Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd

18 years and over Unsponsored (heats) – Product Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Cash comp = 18 years and over Sponsored (heats) – Cash Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Best Trick Comp – Cash and Product Prizes

(Finalists of the 18 plus unsponsored comp and the 17 and under sponsored comp will be moved up into the main sposored cash comp)

Guerreiro: The Tiago Lemos Story, produced by Mtn Dew Green Label Films, shows the path FKD and BLVDs Tiago had to travel, coming from a town known more for its rodeo than anything else. Shot on location in Jaguariúna, São Paulo, Los Angeles and Long Beach, the film contains never-before-seen archival footage, and interviews with Tiago's family, who explain how they initially forbade skateboarding. While Tiago’s friends explain their reactions to seeing him skate for the first time, Tiago just dreams of going pro, a dream that is realized--by surprise--on his 25th birthday.
